The people of Central Baptist Church have been making an impact in the Round Rock community for three decades now and we are so grateful that God would choose to use us. We want to gather together to look back on God's faithfulness and the lives that have been changed yet we know that there is still so much more to be done and more of the story to be written. So we celebrate the past and then lock arms and seek the Lord together to see how God will shape us and use us in the years to come.

DETAILS

On October 1st we have a full day planned of worship, prayer, food, fellowship and centering on God's word. All ages are included and everyone is welcome to come. We are better with each of you there so we hope that you will make this day a priority for you and your family.

​

 

MORNING SERVICES

In the morning we will have two services at 9:00 & 11:00. Both services will be the same so choose which time works best for you. We will not have ABF, Youth or Kids classes but we will have Preschool for both services. Even if you don't normally serve in those areas this would be a great opportunity to attend one service and then serve in the other to allow those volunteers to attend a service too.

These services will be a time of exalting Jesus and looking forward to where God is leading us in this next season of Central's life. We want to look back and remember God's faithfulness and the impact that Central has had on our lives. Then we want to RAISE OUR SAILS to catch the wind of the Holy Spirit and go where he leads. There is more to be done. Our story is not over, but just beginning. To God be the glory!

EVENING CELEBRATION

The evening gathering, from 5:00 to 7:00, will be a party at Deepwood Elementary! We'll have all kinds of games and outdoor activities for the whole family to enjoy. Deepwod has a great playground area, gaga ball, a basketball court, and a huge field where we will set up mechanical bull rides, an obstacle course, bounce house, corn hole, wiffleball, ultimate frisbee and more.

 

And don't forget about the food! Some generous volunteers are going to cook up some brisket sandwiches and hotdogs for dinner. We will also be providing chips, water and of course no birthday celebration is complete without cake. You are welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks too. It will be a great time to see old friends, meet new people and just enjoy some time being together as a big church family.

WHAT CAN YOU DO?

It takes the whole church to makes this day great and that's they we like it.

1. PRAY - We want God to be glorified and we need him to guide our every step

 

2. RSVP -  We need to know how much food to prepare so let us know you are coming

 

3. SERVE - You can help make everything run smooth. We need help with set up and tear down, serving food, decorating and directing people in the parking lot

 

4. BRING chairs, blankets, games and any additional snacks and drinks you want
