NEXT LADIES BIBLE STUDY

Wednesdays beginning January 10

9:15am - 11:15am OR 6:30pm - 8:00pm

Imagine walking the dusty roads of Galilee with Jesus of Nazareth—braving jostling crowds just to touch the edge of His cloak and hear Him say, "Take heart, daughter, your faith has healed you." Those words, once meant to comfort a hurting woman's soul thousands of years ago, were also meant for you. Join biblical culturalist Kristi McLelland on those dusty roads as she transports you back to Jesus' world, following in the footsteps of the women who came face-to-face with the Living God. Throughout the semester, examine the historical and cultural climate of first-century Middle Eastern society to not only understand Jesus more deeply but to fuel your worship of Him today. The Jesus and Women Bible study book may be purchased on Amazon, Lifeway, Mardel's, or a number of any other websites. Childcare is available for the Wednesday morning sessions, and is $20/child, with a $50 max per family. If a scholarship is needed for either the book or childcare, please reach out to Pam Westerfield or Victoria Slayton. There is also a place to donate to those in need on the registration page.

EDUCATION CONNECTION

Education Connection is recruiting now for volunteers to help students practice reading and engage in conversation about the books being read. These Literacy Partners serve with a weekly 1x1 reading session with two children for 15 minutes each throughout the school year. These sessions not only help kids learn to read but they also help reduce school drop-out rates and make a positive impact in the life of a child.
