Prayer Points - Vol 12

November 29, 2018

1 Chronicles 16:8 Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done.

Let us praise God for what He has specifically done. Where have you seen God’s hand at work in your life? In the life of your family?

Numbers 20:16 but when we cried out to the Lord, he heard our cry and sent an angel and brought us out of Egypt.

Let us ask God to hear our cry, to consider our prayers and deliver His blessings as He desires for, we know that He has our best interest at heart.

Ecclesiastes 12:14 For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.

Let us take a moment to ask God to reveal the hidden things in our lives that we may ask His forgiveness where needed.

Acts 2:39 The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.”

God’s promises still stand, let us intercede for the children, little Ryan Brown and Vivian Tomlinson, as they struggle with health issues. Let us pray for our children and grandchildren, for their health and their safety and their relationship with God. Let us pray for their spouses and future spouses and for them to develop a legacy of Christ-likeness that will shape generations to come.

1 Corinthians 5:8 Therefore let us keep the Festival, not with the old bread leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Let us pray for this Christmas season. Let us pray that truth, who is Jesus, would go forth in power and might among our families and extended families and throughout out circles of influence. Let us pray that the Prince of Peace would reign in our hearts and in our homes as we gather together. Let us pray for impact and influence as we attend celebrations and parties this month to celebrate Christmas. May we carry salt and light as we go.

1 Timothy 5:4 But if a widow has children or grandchildren, these should learn first of all to put their religion into practice by caring for their own family and so repaying their parents and grandparents, for this is pleasing to God.

Let us pray for the care-givers and those ministering to the chronically ill. Let us ask God to give them patience and rest and to renew their spirit.

Romans 12:15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.

Let us pray for the Rusk, Dempsey and Mondel families as they mourn the loss of parents. Let us ask God to use this time and these services to touch hearts and minds for His kingdom’s sake and for His glory.

Zechariah 10:8 I will signal for them and gather them in. Surely, I will redeem them; they will be as numerous as before.

Let us pray for our Sunday gathering and for this new Advent sermon series. Let us ask God to imbue His thoughts and heart to our pastors as they prepare to speak. Let us pray for His Holy Spirit to rest heavy upon our Worship Center.

1 Peter 5:10 And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.

Let us pray for God to strengthen us and to use us further His kingdom. Let us ask God to grace us with a boldness to share the ‘good news’ and an openness to invite everyone to celebrate Christmas Eve at our candlelight services.

Jude 1:1 Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ and a brother of James, To those who have been called, who are loved in God the Father and kept for Jesus Christ:

Let us always remember that we are loved in God the Father, that we are kept in Jesus Christ and that we are called for a purpose. Let us ask God to reveal that purpose to use that we can be faithful to our calling.

2 John 1:6 And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.

Let us ask God to fill us with His love to overflowing that we can pour it out on those that He would bring into our lives, May we be of use to Him for His glory.
