Deuteronomy 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 5 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.

Let us ask God to draw our hearts, souls and strength toward Him, that we may love Him more.

Psalm 121:1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber,

Let us thank God for His eternal vigilance in protecting us, in helping us and in caring for us.

Psalm 150:1 Praise the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre,

Let us praise the Lord for what He has done in and around our lives this week. Where has He revealed Himself at work around you?

Galatians 4:13 As you know, it was because of an illness that I first preached the gospel to you,

Let us pray for Sherry B…. who has had a stroke. Let us ask God to heal her from her as a testimony to His grace and glory. This prayer request came in from our Monday night basketball games from an unbeliever. Let us ask God to use this healing and our basketball outreach as evangelical tools to further His kingdom on Earth as it is in heaven.

Let us pray for all of those who are unwell, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Let us ask God to touch their lives and breathe into their spirits.

Romans 12:15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.

Let us ask God to grant us empathy and compassion to comfort those who are mourning the loss of loved ones.

Proverbs 5:18 May your fountain be blessed, and may you rejoice in the wife of your youth.

Let us pray for marriages, in our nation, in our area, among our staff and in our lives. Let us ask the Father to bind us, spirit to spirit, so that no man can separate us from the covenantal commitment that we have made.

Romans 6:17 But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you have come to obey from your heart the pattern of teaching that has now claimed your allegiance.

Let us pray for the adults who will be active participants in our Disciple Now weekend. Let us pray for their hearts, for their health and for their faithfulness as they interact with our youth. Let us ask God to grant a Spirit of Holiness to all adults who work with young people in our church and churches around the world.

Psalm 92:12 The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon;

Let us pray for those youth who will be giving up a week-end to attend a D-Now program, either here at our church throughout the world. Let us pray that God will use this time to bring kids to righteousness and to grow them strong in their faith that they may stand against the schemes of the enemy.

Jude 1: 20 But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.

Let us pray for all of those that we count as friends, those who join us in worship and fellowship. Let us lift up our Sunday services and ask the Holy Spirit to manifest God’s power and might in churches everywhere.

2 John 1:3 Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Father’s Son, will be with us in truth and love.

Let us pray for God’s holy Word to go forth in power and might so that we might receive His grace, His Mercy and His peace.
