Prayer Points - Vol 23


Isaiah 44:24 “This is what the Lord says— your Redeemer, who formed you in the womb: I am the Lord, the Maker of all things, who stretches out the heavens, who spreads out the earth by myself,

Let us thank God for His creation of all things, even ourselves.

Ephesians 1:7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace 8 that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding,

Let us thank God for the sacrifice of Christ and for the forgiveness of our wrongs.

1 John 2:20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth.

Let us thank God for opening our eyes and calling us out of the world and into His kingdom.

Ephesians 3: 14 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith

Let us pray for those who have not yet made a commitment to the Lord. Let us pray that God will strengthen them.

Ephesians 1:13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit,

Let us ask God to mature us spiritually that we may be of even greater use to Him and His kingdom.

Romans 8:27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.

Let us prayerfully ask God to direct our thoughts and prayers where He would have us focus.

2 Timothy 2:24 And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful.

Let us ask God to make us kind and to keep us from quarrels and bickering.

Ephesians 4:3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.

Let us pray for peace like a river to flood our hearts and lives.

Colossians 3:15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.

Let us pray for the church, here at Central, throughout our city and around the world. Let us submit to His rule.

James 1:18 He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created.

Let us pray that His kingdom of Peace will spread throughout the world.

Revelation 22:2 down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.

Let us pray for peace in this world and for the persecuted church.

3 John 1:2 Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.

Let us pray for each other and for our members, for their physical, emotional and spiritual health and for their, and our, wellbeing.

Hebrews 13:7 Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.

Let us pray for Pastor Mark and our Sunday services.

James 1:12 Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.
