Prayer Points - Vol 38

Isaiah 6:1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple. 2 Above him were seraphim, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. 3 And they were calling to one another: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.”

Let us proclaim the holiness of our Almighty God for He alone is worthy.

Romans 8:17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

Let us ask God to share the glory of Christ with us and to strengthen our hearts that we might bear a share of His suffering.

Romans 8:18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

Let us ask God to grace us with His vision, for our lives, our ministries and for our churches.

Psalm 149:4 For the Lord takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory.

Let us ask for humility to rule our attitudes and that we would be a delight to our God.

1 John 3:16 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.

Let ask God to fill us with a sacrificial love.

Psalm 41:1 Blessed are those who have regard for the weak; the Lord delivers them in times of trouble.

Let us pray for empathy and compassion to guide our thoughts and our actions.

Acts 16:32 Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in his house.

Let us pray for eyes to see the divine appointments that God places in our path and for a boldness to proclaim the truth of His power and might.

Ephesians 4:15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.

Let us pray for our church, for our unity and for us to reflect Christ well.

1 Peter 5:2 Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve;

Let us pray for our Pastor, for his family and his marriage.

2 Peter 1:3 His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.

Let us pray for a spirit of satisfaction and contentment to descend upon the American church that we would not chase after the things of the world but that we would understand that what He gives us is more important and more valuable than anything else.
