Prayer Points - Vol 44

Daniel 9:4 I prayed to the Lord my God and confessed: “Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with those who love him and keep his commandments,

Let us praise God for His awesomeness.

Psalm 3:1 Lord, how many are my foes! How many rise up against me!

2 Many are saying of me, “God will not deliver him.”

3 But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high.

4 I call out to the Lord, and he answers me from his holy mountain.

5 I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the Lord sustains me.

6 I will not fear though tens of thousands assail me on every side.

7 Arise, Lord! Deliver me, my God. Strike all my enemies on the jaw;

break the teeth of the wicked.

8 From the Lord comes deliverance. May your blessing be on your people.

Let us take a moment of silence to ask God from what He desires us to seek deliverance. What part of us are we holding back from Him?

Galatians 5:1 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

Let us thank Him for delivering us and ask for His help and strength to not allow ourselves to pick up what we have laid at His alter.

Psalm 107:14 He brought them out of darkness, the utter darkness, and broke away their chains.

Let us pray for those who are not yet walking in freedom, our families and friends.

2 Corinthians 6:2 For he says, “In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.

Let us take a moment of silence to name those on whose behalf we intercede. Let us pray that this will be the day of their salvation.

1 Corinthians 12:28 And God has placed in the church first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, of helping, of guidance, and of different kinds of tongues.

Let us pray for our church to become all that God has intended for us, to fulfill our role in our city through His gifting.

Colossians 2:4 I tell you this so that no one may deceive you by fine-sounding arguments.

Let us pray for our pastor, that he may lead us to a deeper and stronger understanding of God’s call to us and His call on our lives.

Hebrews 12:14 Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.

Let us pray to God to do for us what we cannot do for ourselves, to fill us with His Spirit that we may be dispensers of His grace and His peace.

Ephesians 4:11 So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers,

Let us pray for the five-fold church. Let us pray for teaching this next couple of weeks in India.

Psalm 91:11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;

I selfishly ask for prayers as I travel, safety and health.

Acts 8:15 When they arrived, they prayed for the new believers there that they might receive the Holy Spirit,

Let us pray for new believers and those who have need of God’s Spirit.

John 13:35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

Let us pray for God’s perfect love to overpower our imperfect love that we might reflect Him well to a lost and dying world.
