Christmas Cards

January 01, 2020

DECEMBER

Christmas cards are available through The Child Freedom Coalition in the Welcome Center for all who are interested. Donations can be made to the ministry or through Central with Christmas Cards in the memo. 100% of all donations go to India where they are used to house, feed and pay for medical care for children being rescued out of slavery. This need is great and the Missions Team of Central is proud to partner in providing for these kids. For more information visit childfreedom.org.

WEDNESDAYS

YOUTH BUILDING

This is a time for students to connect with each other in a youth-friendly environment. Each week there is worship and teaching that meets them where they are and pushes them to grow deeper in their faith.

AWANA

WEDNESDAYS

6:10-7:45

EDUCATION BUILDING (3 STORY BUILDING)

Awana provides opportunities for kids to put their trust in Jesus Christ and learn to faithfully follow Him through games, lessons and an emphasis on God's Word. It is led by parents and volunteers so it provides a great place for adults to encourage, teach and lead kids to be devoted disciples of Christ.

Cost is $40 per child with a $100 maximum per family. We ask that at least one parent comes to volunteer and help this program to be exciting and safe for all the kids that want to come.

Education Connection

BE A VOLUNTEER READER

Become a literacy partner and make a difference by reading weekly with two students for 15 minutes each. Research shows it's vital for children to be reading on grade level by the end of third grade. Until that point children are learning to read, but in fourth grade students begin reading to learn. This shared reading time is an investment in reading skills students will use throughout their education and beyond. Days and times (and locations) are flexible.

If you have questions you can contact Helen Royer at helenroyer@prodigy.net or visit the Welcome Center on Sunday, September 8, 15 & 22.
