Train up a child in the way he should go;
even when he is old he will not depart from it.
In Central Preschool, it is our privilege to minister to your family and partner with you to give your preschoolers their first impression of their Heavenly Father.
We provide a safe, exciting environment with hope that your preschooler looks forward to coming to church, and you can feel at ease leaving your child in the care of our trained volunteers and staff while you worship.
Preschool Early Worship at 8:30am
Preschool Bible Fellowship 9:45am
Preschool Late Worship 11:00am
Volunteers provide loving care for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. We use Gospel Project curriculum in our classrooms. Your preschooler will be taught a Bible story and a monthly memory verse in an interactive way as well as participate in a variety of activities and crafts to help them apply what they have learned. We seek to develop a good understanding of God and a core faith through three concepts: God made me, God loves me and Jesus wants to be my friend forever
SAFETY AND HEALTH
Safety and security are fundamental to our Central Preschool experience. We require all our volunteers to be screened and trained, and we maintain low teacher-to-child ratios to ensure safe care. At Central, we utilize an automated check-in system, and the doors to the preschool hallway are locked at all times with access granted only through the parents’ Guardian Receipts. Children must be picked up by an adult with a Guardian Receipt. Parents will be notified by text message in case of emergency. For health standards, children must be free from fever or symptoms of contagious disease for 24 hours. Let us know of any allergies or medical conditions your child may have.
At Central, we love kids! Our goal is to assist you, the parent, in spiritually developing your child. This is done through engaging and Biblical teaching as well as building lasting friendships.
KIDS CENTRAL (K-4th)
At 9:45am Sunday morning on the 2nd Floor.
Kids in Kindergarten-4th grade are split into grade-level small groups for Biblical teaching on their level. They also have activities (games and crafts) to reinforce the lesson being taught.
KIDS 56 (5th-6th)
At 9:45am Sunday morning on the 2nd floor.
Students in 5th & 6th grade will start together for a group activity and teaching time. For the last 15 to 20 minutes of class, they break into small groups to discuss the lesson and how they can apply it to their lives. Lessons are topical on things like family, trust, obedience, and God's love, to name a handful. There's also opportunity for social activities outside of class about every 6 to 8 weeks.
KIDS CHURCH (K-4th)
During each service, kids are dismissed to the back of the Worship Center after Praise and Worship with their family. Together, we head up to Kids Central. Students are broken into small groups where they have a Bible lesson, snack and activity time. Parents will pick their child up from the Lobby on the 2nd Floor of the 3 story building.
Wednesdays (*Starting September 4)
6:10-7:45pm in the Education Building (3 story building)
Awana provides opportunities for kids to put their trust in Jesus Christ and learn to faithfully follow Him through games, lessons and an emphasis on God's Word. It is lead by parents and volunteers so it provides a great place for adults to encourage, teach and lead kids to be devoted disciples of Christ. Cost is $40 per child with a $100 maximum per family. We ask that at least one parent comes to volunteer and help this program to be exciting and safe for all the kids that want to come.

The "What If" Game
Encouraging kids to talk about body safety and boundaries
Playing a game with this deck can help children to understand that they have the ability to problem solve, even sometimes on their own. When children feel confident and competent, it adds another level of protection as they go out into the world.
“The Gospel: God's Plan for Me” booklet
If your child is asking questions about salvation or considering baptism, we recommend that they work through this booklet with a parent or guardian. Lifeway’s “The Gospel: God's Plan for Me” is an excellent resource to help you navigate this important discussion. You can pick one up in the Preschool Lobby or after attending our Baptism Class.
