Welcome to Women's Ministry at Central!
No matter what season of life you are going through it's always better with others by your side. We want to provide you with opportunities to build deep friendships with other women while we all seek to know and follow Jesus. This is a safe place where we build each other up to be the women that God has called us to be. Due to the nature of content and discussion, our ministry is geared to adult women, 18 years old and older.

First Love Austin
Are you ready to help us share God's love this Christmas with the local workers in the strip clubs?
Bakers and prayer warriors are requested to help share God’s love this Christmas with the local workers in the strip clubs. December 9, First Love will be delivering cookies and brownies to our worker friends. We are looking for people that can bake cookies or brownies to deliver; and, most importantly, we are looking for people to pray!
What We Need
150 Dozen cookies for the North teams and 250 dozen for the South teams
25 disposable pans of brownies (8x8) for the North teams and 40 for the South teams
How Can You Help?
North Austin Bakers: These goodies will go to 5 North Austin clubs. Please bring your cookies and/or pans of brownies by Saturday, December 9 at 4pm to either:
1519 Pinehurst Ln, Round Rock
1814 Indian Summer Pass, Round Rock
600 Westinghouse Rd, Apt #2306, Round Rock
(if no one is home at these locations, please leave goodies on porch)
Another option is to bring them to Central on 12/9 between 5pm - 6:30pm where we'll be packing everything up and praying before we head out. Feel free to help us pack/pray or just drop off.
South Austin Bakers: Dates are 12/9 AND 12/16. These goodies will go to 7 South Austin clubs. Please contact First Love (email@example.com) for info to be connected.
If these times don't work for you, please reach out to the First Love team (firstname.lastname@example.org) so that they can arrange something else.
Ladies Fall Bible Study
The fall semester has ended. Please see below for details on the spring semester study.
Ladies 2024 Spring Bible Study
Date: Wednesdays January 10 - April 17
Time: 9:15am - 11:15am or 6:30pm - 8:00pm
Imagine walking the dusty roads of Galilee with Jesus of Nazareth—braving jostling crowds just to touch the edge of His cloak and hear Him say, "Take heart, daughter, your faith has healed you." Those words, once meant to comfort a hurting woman's soul thousands of years ago, were also meant for you.
Join biblical culturalist Kristi McLelland on those dusty roads as she transports you back to Jesus' world, following in the footsteps of the women who came face-to-face with the Living God. Throughout the semester, examine the historical and cultural climate of first-century Middle Eastern society to not only understand Jesus more deeply but to fuel your worship of Him today.
Childcare is available for the Wednesday morning sessions, and is $20/child, with a $50 max per family. If a scholarship is needed for either the book or childcare, please reach out to Pam Westerfield or Victoria Slayton. There is also a place to donate to those in need on the registration page.
Mentoring for Women
Would you like to connect with other women so you can more deeply know, love and follow Jesus, even in difficult circumstances? If so, take advantage of the Women’s Mentoring Ministry, which is based on Christ-centered relationships that focus on Scripture and life experience.
The Central Women’s Ministry likes to bless the teachers and staff of Bluebonnet Elementary by doing various things for them throughout the school year. Ask us about how you can serve these amazing people!
Piece and Comfort Quilters
Tuesdays at 9:30 in room 2315. Bring your sewing machine and join us as we laugh, pray and see how God uses the work of our hands to bless others.
