Prayer Points - Vol 45

Psalm 4:1 Answer me when I call to you, my righteous God.

Give me relief from my distress; have mercy on me and hear my prayer.

2 How long will you people turn my glory into shame? How long will you love delusions and seek false gods?

3 Know that the Lord has set apart his faithful servant for himself; the Lord hears when I call to him.

4 Tremble and do not sin; when you are on your beds, search your hearts and be silent.

5 Offer the sacrifices of the righteous and trust in the Lord.

6 Many, Lord, are asking, “Who will bring us prosperity?” Let the light of your face shine on us.

7 Fill my heart with joy when their grain and new wine abound.

8 In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.

1 John 4:11-12 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.

Let us pray for God to fill us with His love for those around us.

Isaiah 33:17 Your eyes will see the king in his beauty and view a land that stretches afar.

Let us pray for ‘spiritual eyes’ and for ‘that’ day.

Revelation 22:2b On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.

Let us pray for peace throughout the world, for the healing of the nations.

2 Peter 3:18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.

Let us pray for God to grow us, to draw us deeper into Him, His will and His way.

1 Tim 2:1 I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.

Let us pray for those in authority, locally and worldwide.

Let us pray for the ‘lost’ especially those that we know.

Acts 4:29 Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness.

Let us pray for an urgency to share Good News, to be bold and faithful.

Exodus 23:25 Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you,

Let us pray for healing for those in need, physical, emotional and spiritual.

Let us ask God to make sure that we are not the impediment to His moving His healing hand throughout our church, our city, our nation.

John 4:23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.

Let us pray for a heart of worship, that we may be found acceptable to the Lord.

Ephesians 5:8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light

Let us ask God to protect us from evil, to strengthen our resolve to be over-comers and to fill us with light that we may shine brightly for Him.
