Isaiah 30:29 And you will sing as on the night you celebrate a holy festival; your hearts will rejoice as when people playing pipes go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the Rock of Israel.
Let us celebrate what God is doing in and around our lives. Where have you seen the Hand of God move this week?
Romans 12:15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. 16 Live in harmony with one another.
Let us rejoice with the Brown family in the birth of a child, Bowie. Let us mourn with the Fredrickson family as they go through the separation from Barry and with the Archer family as they deal with the sudden death of a cousin. Let us pray for these families and all families.
Malachi 4:2 But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays. And you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves.
Let us pray for Pastor Allen as he heals from his hip replacement surgery. Let us ask God to demonstrate His power and might through healing for all of those dealing with illness and disease, may His holy Name be glorified as this lost world sees His Hand moving in the lives of His Church.
Nahum 1:15 Look, there on the mountains, the feet of one who brings good news, who proclaims peace!
Let us pray for our pastor and pastors. Let us pray for all of the pastors in our area and the missionaries worldwide who labor to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Psalm 139:13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
Let us pray for those who are pregnant and those who are trying to become so. Let us pray for the perfection of God’s handiwork.
2 John 1:4 It has given me great joy to find some of your children walking in the truth, just as the Father commanded us.
While we so often pray for those who have wandered off of the narrow path, let us rejoice in those children who are walking in the truth. Let us pray over our Family Ministry and pray that they can help to equip children to face the trials and tribulations of the world as they enter into a new school year.
Philippines 2:14 Do everything without grumbling or arguing, 15 so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky 16 as you hold firmly to the word of life.
Let us pray for our attitudes. Let us pray that we can live out Ephesians 4:31. “Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice”.
Let us pray that we will truly mature into Children of the Light.
Ephesians 5:8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light.
Hebrews 6:1 Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God,
Let us pray for God’s faithful completion for the good work that He has begun in each of us.
Ephesians 4:15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. 16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
Let us pray for our Sunday services and this body of believers that we call Central. Let us pray for the Big ‘C’ church of Round Rock that each and every congregation will do its’ part in love so that God may be honored in our city.
1 John 4:12 No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
Let us pray for one another.
