Prayer Points - Vol 4
Ephesians 5:18 Instead, be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, 20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Let us give thanks to God for everything, even the things that we don’t want or like knowing that He will work all things out for His glory.
1 Thessalonians 4:13 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope.
Let us give thanks for those who have passed lately, knowing that God holds them close to His heart.
3 John 1:2 Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.
Let us pray for that those with illnesses and diseases would enjoy good health and that their healing would spark a newness in their walk with God.
1 Peter 4:11 If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.
Let us pray for those that serve, in our church, in our city and throughout the world, that God would provide them strength that He may be glorified. Let us pray for those who provide care to others, that they would receive supernatural rest and spiritual restoration as they continue to serve their loved ones day after day.
Matthew 6: 9 “This, then, is how you should pray:
“‘Our Father in heaven ,hallowed be your name,
10 your kingdom come’ your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
Let us pray for forgiveness. Let us pray that as God has forgiven us, we may be able to forgive those who have sinned against us. Let us pray that we can forgive the unforgiveable and those who don’t seem to even care about the wrongs that they have done to us.
1 Corinthians 6:11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
Let us pray that as we receive forgiveness we will be able to walk in the cleansing that God gives us. Let us not remember the things that we have done nor the things done to us that were not of God and embrace the freedom from sin that He provides, sin we have committed and sin perpetrated upon us.
Isaiah 61:3 to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes,
the oil of joy instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.
Let us pray for every good and righteous gift from God to fill us.
Acts 2:42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles.
Let us pray for our Sunday services, for the power of God to break out in spirit and in might.
