Prayer Points - Vol 18


1 Chronicles 16:34 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.

Let us thank God for His continuous unconditional love.

Amos 4:13 He who forms the mountains, who creates the wind, and who reveals his thoughts to mankind, who turns dawn to darkness, and treads on the heights of the earth— the Lord God Almighty is his name.

Let us praise God for revealing His thoughts and actions to us. Where have you seen God at work this week?

Exodus 23:25 Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you,

Let us pray for God’s blessing to take away sickness among us.

Ephesians 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2 “Honor your father and mother”—which is the first commandment with a promise— 3 “so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.”

Let us pray for those caregivers ministering to the elderly and to their parents. Let us ask God to grace them with rest, patience, peace and His love.

Malachi 4:2 But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays. And you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves.

Let us pray for those who need emotional and spiritual healing.

1 Thessalonians 2:9 Surely you remember, brothers and sisters, our toil and hardship; we worked night and day in order not to be a burden to anyone while we preached the gospel of God to you.

Let us pray for those who are looking for jobs and career changes.

2 Timothy 4:5 But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.

Let us pray for strong Christian teachers and administrators to return our schools to Christ-centered teaching and that they will be influencers.

Isaiah 40:31 but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Let us pray that those who feel weak or unworthy will find their true strength in the Lord.

Luke 10:1 After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of him to every town and place where he was about to go.

Let us pray for God to go with, before and behind our Spring Break Family Mission Teams. Let us ask Him to bless their work, to keep them safe and to use them for His glory.

Romans 10:17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.

Let us pray for our Sunday services and ask God to impart His Spirit of truth upon our gathering. Let us pray for a revival in His church worldwide.

Hebrews 13:1 Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters.

Let us pray for each other, our needs, our hopes and our dreams.

Romans 13:1 Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.

Let us pray for our pastors and Elders, for peace, wisdom, grace and protection.

Philippians 2:9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Let us pray for His kingdom to come on Earth as it is in heaven.
