Prayer Points - Vol 32


Isaiah 63:9 In all their affliction He was afflicted, And the angel of His presence saved them; In His love and in His mercy He redeemed them, And He lifted them and carried them all the days of old.

Let us give thanks for a God of mercy who shows His empathy and love, who redeems us.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.

Let us praise God for the new things that He brings and the old (sinful) things that He allows to pass away from us.

Exodus 15:2 “The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; This is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will extol Him.

Let us speak of the wonderous things that God has done in our lives this week.

Psalm 139:13 For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb.

Other translations use the work ‘knitted’. Let us pray over those women who are carrying new life within them, for the perfection of His weaving.

Proverbs 13:22 A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children, And the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous.

Let us pray for those mourning the loss of loved ones, grandparents, parents, uncles and friends, may they find comfort in Him.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.

1 John 3:3 And everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

Let us pray for purity to return to our world. Let is start with us, our thoughts, our words and our actions.

Matthew 5:43-48 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven;

Let us pray for those with whom we disagree, politically, spiritually and socially. Let us pray for all who are far from God and ask that He will draw them near.

Ephesians 4:1 Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Let us pray for the Big ‘C’ Church of Round Rock, for unity among our leaders and fellowship and tolerance among the many different flavors of believers.

Psalm 122:8 For the sake of my brothers and my friends, I will now say, “May peace be within you.”

Let us pray over our congregation, for harmony and for us to grow in holiness.

Proverbs 16:13 Righteous lips are the delight of kings, And he who speaks right is loved.

Let us pray for this Sunday’s service and for this sermon series to mature us.

Psalm 96:1 Sing to the Lord a new song; Sing to the Lord, all the earth. Sing to the Lord, bless His name; Proclaim good tidings of His salvation from day to day. Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples. ...

Let us pray for our Worship Team and all of the tech people that they would bless us as they bless Him.

Romans 13:6 For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers are servants of God,

Let us pray for our governmental leaders for even if unaware of it, they are servants of God.

1 Timothy 3:16 By common confession, great is the mystery of godliness: He who was revealed in the flesh, Was vindicated in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Proclaimed among the nations, Believed on in the world, Taken up in glory.
