Prayer Points - Vol 33

Psalm 3:3 But You, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the One who lifts my head.

Let us thank God for His protection and His never-ending affirmation.

Psalm 36:7 How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! And the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings.

Let us pray for our children and all of the children in our church. Let us ask God to protect the new born and the unborn in the shelter of His wings.

1 Timothy 5:4 but if any widow has children or grandchildren, they must first learn to practice piety in regard to their own family and to make some return to their parents; for this is acceptable in the sight of God.

Let us pray for those who are care givers for their parents and for others, that they would show them the same long-suffering love that they were shown as infants. Let us pray for their peace and for their rest.

Hebrews 10:24-25 and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.

Let us pray for our Youth and our Children as they get into the routine of church and school, that they would join together in community and find friends who affirm them and support them in their Christian growth.

2 Corinthians 10:15 not boasting beyond our measure, that is, in other men’s labors, but with the hope that as your faith grows, we will be, within our sphere, enlarged even more by you,

Let us pray for the classes and Bible studies that are beginning this season, that they will bind people in community and will lead to personal spiritual growth.

Psalm 68:11 The Lord gives the command; The women who proclaim the good tidings are a great host:

Let us pray for our Women’s Ministry and those will be meeting here next week. Let us pray that God’s word will go forth in power and in might and that it will not return void.

Ephesians 4:11 And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.

Let us pray that all parts of our church and the world-wide Body of Christ will work together to lead us all to maturity in the fullness of Christ.
