Prayer Points - Vol 35

Psalm 91 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

Let us pray for rest. Let us acknowledge God as our refuge and pray for more trust.

Psalm 17:8 Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings

Let us pray for God’s favor and protection against the ways of the world.

Romans 5:1 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

Let us give thanks for our reconciliation to our heavenly Father.

Ephesians 4:1 As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.

Let us pray for His Spirit to empower us to represent Him well to this lost and dying world.

Matthew 8:17 This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took up our infirmities and bore our diseases.”

Let us ask Jesus to demonstrate His power through healings that would be so obviously Him that His kingdom would expand as they believe.

Romans 10:13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Let us pray for God to bring our family and extended family members to that place of decision making where they must choose to follow or turn away.

Deuteronomy 6:5 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.

Let us ask God to strengthen our walk with Him. Let us pray for the ‘all’ part of this verse, all the time.

Matthew 5:16 in the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Let us ask God to use us for His purposes, let us submit to His will and His way.

Leviticus 23:21 On that same day you are to proclaim a sacred assembly and do no regular work. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live.

Let us pray for our Sunday services and for people to place the honoring of our God as the most important part of their week.

Matthew 10:40 “Anyone who welcomes you welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me.

Let us pray for tender hearts toward those who visit our church. Let us pray to honor them as unto the Lord.

James 3:18 Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.

Let us pray over the Agape Pregnancy Center’s Annual Banquet this coming week. Let us ask God to provide a harvest of righteousness for these who have sowed peace into so many troubled lives.

Hebrews 13:17 Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you.

Let us pray for our pastor and all pastors, for them and their families.

Romans 12:10 Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.

Let us pray for each other, for our hopes and dreams, for our fears and needs. Let us lift each other up daily and pray that God would grace us with eyes to see and ears to hear as He continues His eternal work in and around our lives.
