Revelation 4:11“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.”

Let us honor our Creator for He is worthy by naming His many attributes and how He has revealed Himself in our lives.

Psalm 51:17 My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise.

Let us spend a moment in silence confessing our wrongdoing, acknowledging our failings and asking for the free gift of forgiveness to flow upon us.

1 Thessalonians 5: 15 Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else. 16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Let us take a moment to forgive any with whom we have grievance that we may also be forgiven. Let us give thanks.

Ezekiel 36:26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.

Let us pray to be overwhelmed with compassion and empathy for those around us. Let us pray for an increased capacity to love.

Philippians 4:12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.

Let us ask God to fill our hearts with joy and our minds with contentment despite whatever circumstances are trying to pull us back into worldly thinking.

James 5:16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.

Let us pray for those in need of healing. Let us ask God to be obvious to all as He interacts in their lives that He might be glorified, and people would turn to Him.

John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

Let us pray that we can keep our focus on the Author and Completor of our faith and lift out eyes above our daily troubles.

Isaiah 39:8 “The word of the Lord you have spoken is good,” Hezekiah replied. For he thought, “There will be peace and security in my lifetime.”

Let us pray for our nation and our world, let us ask He who has overcome to display His power and might so that all may see His greatness and glory.

Ephesians 3:10 His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms,

Let us pray that our words and our actions would line up with God’s intent for our lives that we may be of use to Him for His purposes.

Romans 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Let us ask God to work on our hearts, to renew our minds and to shape us and mold us into the image of Christ that we may know His will.

Philippians 4:19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

Let us thank God for meeting needs in our lives, our families, among the people that we know and throughout the world even when we don’t understand.

Revelation 19:17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun, who cried in a loud voice to all the birds flying in midair, “Come, gather together for the great supper of God,

Let us pray for our Sunday services as we share the Lord’s Supper and rejoice with those being baptized.
