Prayer Points - Vol 41


Habakkuk 2:14 For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.

Let us pray for the glory of the Lord to be revealed to all.

Isaiah 1:18 “Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.

Let us ask God to forgive us our sins, known and those unknown.

Matthew 6:15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

Let us pray for a heart of forgiveness that we might stand in holiness before our God. Let us clean our hearts and minds through forgiveness.

Haggai 2:7 I will shake all nations, and what is desired by all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the Lord Almighty.

Let us pray that as the nations are shaken all will come to desire the glory of the Lord.

John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

Let us pray for peace in the hearts and minds of all who are troubled by current events and global issues.

Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.

Let us pray for the leaders of this world to embrace peace that they may be blessed.

Psalm 139:13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.

Let us pray for the new babies, for their health and safety and let us pray for those that will be born this year, for the perfection of the Lord’s knitting.

Psalm 132:15 I will bless her with abundant provisions; her poor I will satisfy with food.

Let us pray for those who have financial need, that they will trust in the Lord with all of their hearts and that He will use this to draw them ever nearer.

1 John 3:19 This is how we know that we belong to the truth and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence:

Let us pray that those who are troubled emotionally that they will find rest in Him.

Haggai 2:5 ‘This is what I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt. And my Spirit remains among you. Do not fear.’

Let us pray for those who are not able to walk in the fullness of the promise. Let us pray that they will become spiritually strong.

Hebrews 12:1-3 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles.

Let us pray for the strength to be faithful to those who blazed the trails before us, to cast off whatever hinders and walk in freedom through Christ.

Acts 13:44 On the next Sabbath almost the whole city gathered to hear the word of the Lord.

Let us pray for our city’s spiritual awakening and for the Big ‘C’ church.

Zechariah 4:6 So he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.

Let us pray for our services and for the power of God’s Holy Spirit to manifest His presence and bring healing to hearts and minds in our church.

Ephesians 4:15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.

Let us pray for our pastor and his sermon. Let us ask for protection over his health, his family and his heart.
