Prayer Points - Vol 42

Psalm 18:46 The Lord lives! Praise be to my Rock! Exalted be God my Savior!

Let us praise the Living God who saves us.

John 17:3 Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

Let us pray for those who do not yet know, those in our families, our spheres of influence, our country and throughout the world.

Psalm 85:6 Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?

Let us pray for revival in our church. As most movements begin with young people, let us pray for our Youth Group as they meet in Powerhouse, for God to do a mighty work in their hearts and minds.

Leviticus 11:45 I am the Lord, who brought you up out of Egypt to be your God; therefore be holy, because I am holy.

Let us pray for holiness, for God to work in our hearts and minds.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Let us take a moment to ask for forgiveness of our sin, those that we know and even those of which we are unaware.

Matthew 6:14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

Let us pray for forgiveness to flow through us to those that have wronged us, those that have hurt us even though they do not request it.

Matthew 11:30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Let us pray to be unburdened, to walk in ease as He guides and directs us.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

Let us pray for the Gideons, the 130 people who distributed 70,000 Bibles in our area last year. Let us ask God to provide for the vision that He has placed upon their hearts and to draw others to a passion to share His Word.

Romans 10:15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

Let us pray for those who carry the truth to the difficult places. Let us ask God to bless their ministry, provide for their needs and bless their families.

Amos 2:11 “I also raised up prophets from among your children and Nazirites from among your youths. Is this not true, people of Israel?” declares the Lord.

Let us pray for our Disciple Now event next week, that God will use that time to call the next generation of church leaders into His ministry.

Luke 10:2 He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.

Let us ask God to send out His harvesters in His Name.

Acts 4:31 After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.

Let us pray for our services this week, that God would shake us and fill us.

2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.

Let us pray for our pastor and all of the pastors in our city and throughout the world, for their protection and strength, for their passion and patience.

Let us pray for God’s refining fire to change us into the people that He desires.

Ephesians 5:8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light.

Let us pray for obedience to keep us living in His light. Let us pray to be useful vessels for His kingdom’s purpose.
