Prayer Points - Vol 16

Psalm 96:1 Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth. Sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.

Let us thank God for His marvelous deeds, let us declare His glory.

Psalm 4:8 In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.

Let us thank God for keeping us safe as we travel, whether locally or across the globe. Let us rest in the knowledge that He holds us in His hands.

Luke 4:40 At sunset, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying his hands on each one, he healed them.

Let us take before the Lord all those who need healing in their lives knowing that He can bring all to wholeness, physically, spiritually and emotionally.

Luke 9:6 So they set out and went from village to village, proclaiming the good news and healing people everywhere.

Let us pray that God will use His healing powers to draw people into His kingdom. Let us specifically pray for the Nathan and Maryah Woerner in Japan and that their baby Ada will allow them to minister to those with disabled children.

John 1:5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

Let us ask God to bring light to all of the dark places in our lives.

1 Peter 1:22 Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart.

Let us ask God to give us a heart of obedience that we may have purity and love.

Hebrews 4:2 For we also have had the good news proclaimed to us, just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, because they did not share the faith of those who obeyed.

Let us intercede on behalf of those who have not committed their lives to the Lord. Let us ask that God would again offer salvation to them and that they would turn from their sin and embrace His free gift.

James 5:20 remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of their way will save them from death and cover over a multitude of sins.

Let us pray to be useful for God’s evangelical purposes.

1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

Let us ask God to compel us to be grateful for all that He has done in our lives.

2 Corinthians 4:4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

Let us pray for those who cannot see the light. Let us ask God to shine His light in India, in Haiti and in America.

Colossians 1:9 For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives,

Let us pray for our families and our friends. Let us pray for those that God has placed into our lives. Let us pray for His kingdom to come.

1 John 4:10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

Let us ask God to shine His love into us that we may shine it onto those around us that He may be honored and glorified.

Ephesians 2:21 In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord.

Let us pray for our Sunday services, let us ask for holiness.
