Prayer Points - Vol 11

John 8:12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Let us thank God for sending the many blessings that we enjoy into our lives and greatest among all of our blessings is assured salvation through Jesus Christ.

1 John 1:5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.

Let us pray for personal holiness, that God would use the power of His Holy Spirit to cleanse us of habitual sin and anything that hinders our walk with Him.

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

Let us pray for our relationships, that we will hold no grudges nor harbor any bitterness toward anyone, anywhere. Let us take a minute of silence to allow God to direct our thoughts to any relationship that we need to repair or wrong from which we need to repent.

Ephesians 5:8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light

Let us thank God for bringing us to a place of personal holiness as we stand before Him as children of His light.

2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness

Let us thank God for His Word, for the prophesies that told of His coming, for the examples of the good and evil in life that still are relevant to this day. Let us thank Him for the set of instructions that He has given us.

2 Corinthians 4:4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

Let us pray for our city and out state and this nation, that God would reveal Himself. Let us pray for all humanity, that they would hear the Good News and see the Light. Let us ask God to use us to spread the story of His glory.

1 Thessalonians 5:5 You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness.

Let us pray for tonight to be a night of holiness and not a night of spiritual darkness. Let us break the bonds of culture and generational sin and declare that we do not belong to darkness.

Romans 16:25 Now to him who is able to establish you in accordance with my gospel, the message I proclaim about Jesus Christ, in keeping with the revelation of the mystery hidden for long ages past, 26 but now revealed and made known through the prophetic writings by the command of the eternal God, so that all the Gentiles might come to the obedience that comes from faith

Let us pray for our church and our church services this Sunday. Let us ask God to use us, our time and our treasures to draw people into His kingdom. Let us ask that everyone would come to obedience that comes from faith.

Joel 2:28 “And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.

Let us ask God to stir up a hunger in us to pursue Him with nothing withheld. Let us ask Him to pour out His spirit on us. Let us pray for deeper understanding, greater revelation and a more intimate relationship with Him

3 John 1:4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.

Let us pray for our children and grandchildren, those who faithfully walk with the Lord, those who do not and those who have wandered from Him. Let us pray that the conviction of the Holy Spirit will rest heavy on their hearts and minds.

Matthew 19:8 Jesus replied, “Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning.
