Prayer Points - Vol 46


1 John 4:9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.

Let us give thanks to God for the gift of Jesus.

1 John 1:8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.

Let us take a moment of silence to ask God to forgive us our sin and to bring to mind anything of which we need to repent.

Isaiah 6:1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple.

Let us spend a moment exalting God, acknowledging His presence in and around our lives and proclaiming His mighty works in our lives.

Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Let us thank God for His Spirit, for the indwelling and the power, for His working through us to accomplish His goals and allowing us to witness and participate.

John 13:34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.

Let us pray for the empowerment to love as He has loved, to obey Him.

Colossians 2:5 For though I am absent from you in body, I am present with you in spirit and delight to see how disciplined you are and how firm your faith in Christ is.

Let us pray for those who are away, separated by time and distance but still part of who and what we are.

Hebrews 4:2 For we also have had the good news proclaimed to us, just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, because they did not share the faith of those who obeyed.

Let us pray for those who have not yet obeyed, those near to us and those dear to us.

John 14:13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

Let us ask for healing of physical, emotional, financial and spiritual wounds in the Name of Jesus for our families, our friends and our church members.

Philippians 2:10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

Let us pray for the Name of Jesus to go forward in power and might.

Let us pray for those who speak the Message of the Cross here and throughout the world.

Psalm 130:4 But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you.

Let us pray for God to reveal our place in His Body that we can fulfill the role that he has created us to fulfill.

Hebrews 13:17 Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you.

Let us pray for our pastor, for a hedge of protection around his marriage and his family.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

Let us pray for truth to be spoken in every church throughout the world as they meet this week, let us pray for the Gospel.

Ephesians 1:3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.

Let us count our blessings and pray for grateful hearts giving thanks in all circumstances for all things.
